Head of Secondary

Greeting all,

James Winas is my name and I am a teacher by profession with more than 20 years’ experience in the education sector. I hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Science from the University of Papua New Guinea (BSc –UPNG) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Goroka (PGDE – UOG). I was with the National Department of Education – Secondary Education and Open Learning (SEOL) and the General Education Services (GES) Division as a National High School teacher prior to joining the International Education Agency (IEA) in 2007. Apart from being a classroom teaching I have held a number of leadership position during my tenure with the IEA. I am currently the Head of Secondary Campus for Lae International School. I am passionate about teaching and love to be around with young children
